Statement of Faith
At The Restoration House, everything we do flows from our faith in Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word. While we are not a church, we are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to serving our community through mentorship, discipleship, and outreach. We believe that true restoration—of hearts, lives, and families—comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the transforming power of the Gospel.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is God’s revelation to humanity and the final authority for faith, truth, and how we live our lives. Through Scripture, God reveals His character, His plan for redemption, and His love for the world.
God
We believe there is one true and living God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in power, glory, and nature, yet one in essence. God is the Creator of all things and the source of life, truth, and love.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and revealed the love and truth of God to the world. Jesus died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins and was raised from the dead on the third day. Through His death and resurrection, He offers forgiveness, salvation, and new life to all who believe in Him.
Salvation
We believe that man is created in the image of God but is separated from Him because of sin. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace and cannot be earned through good works. It is received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through Him we are forgiven, restored to God, and given eternal life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active today. The Spirit draws people to Christ, brings conviction of sin, and empowers believers to live transformed lives. The Holy Spirit guides, comforts, teaches, and equips followers of Jesus for faithful service and spiritual growth.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers who place their faith in Him. The Church exists to worship God, share the Gospel, disciple believers, and demonstrate the love of Christ in the world. We believe God calls His people to live in community, encouraging and supporting one another in faith.
Restoration and New Life
We believe that through Jesus Christ, lives can be completely transformed. No one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Through the power of the Gospel, hearts can be healed, identities restored, and futures renewed. Our mission at The Restoration House is rooted in this truth: that God restores what is broken and brings hope to every life.
Our Mission in Faith
Because of these convictions, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where young people and families can encounter the love of Christ, grow in faith, and experience true restoration through Him.
